Welcome to 950 Monroe Street

A New Mixed-Use Project in Downtown Santa Clara

A Message from the Architect

Hello Santa Clarans,

My name is Salvatore Caruso, the founder of Salvatore Caruso Design Corporation.  We're located right here in Santa Clara, where I have been an active member of the community since 1999.

I'm honored to be part of the team bringing 950 Monroe Street to life.  One of my goals is to see our City create a vibrant, welcoming downtown by balancing of the designs of nature with the design of man. With that in mind, this project will feature timeless architecture that embraces our history, offers functionality for today's world, and remains relevant in the future by providing a long-desired Downtown cornerstone project.

It is truly a collaborative effort. After an open dialogue with our neighbors, we modified the design to keep in place two existing historic homes adjacent to this new multi-family project. We've also worked closely with local business and government to meet objectives for environmental protection, additional housing, economic development, and, beauty.

We look forward to contributing to a revitalized Downtown -- relevant, engaging, and beautiful for all Santa Clarans to enjoy.

Benefits

MORE HOUSING CLOSER TO EMPLOYMENT CENTERS

Shorter commutes and lower carbon emissions will benefit the environment, and improve the quality of life for those who live and work here.

MORE RETAIL AND RESTAURANT BUSINESS FOR DOWNTOWN SANTA CLARA

More people living downtown will  strengthen the local economy, especially benefiting the downtown retailers and restaurants that make Santa Clara a unique and special place.

MORE SERVICES FOR SANTA CLARA RESIDENTS

The influx of dollars into the City's general fund will help pay for an increase in services like fire and police, libraries, road and infrastructure maintenance, and recreational facilities and parks.

ABOUT OUR PROJECT

Lamb Partners is leading the 950 Monroe Street project. We're proud to be a local company with a long history of working collaboratively with neighbors, businesses, and local governments to create single and multi-family residential and Class A office and industrial spaces that enhance the quality of life in Silicon Valley neighborhoods.

950 Monroe Street is no exception. This is a mixed-use project featuring residential units, additional space for general retail use, and garage parking. The parcels are located at 906, 930, 940 and 950 Monroe Street.

As part of the process, Lamb Partners will submit the following for approvals:

  • An environmental impact report
  • An amendment to the Santa Clara General Plan to increase residential density on the site
  • A proposed rezone of the property to Planned Development
  • A Vesting Tentative Subdivision Map to create 61 residential condominium units and 5 retail condominium units

In collaboration with the City of Santa Clara, we are committed to keeping the community informed as we move together through the development process.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.

- Jan Doe, 49-year Santa Clara Resident

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.
